This week's new bake - DF chocolate chip shortbread stars!
Makes 24
Ingredients:
250g DF butter
100g caster sugar
250g plain flour
120g cornflour
100g DF chocolate chips (for mixture)
50g DF chocolate chips (decoration)
Method:
Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees
Cream butter and sugar together
Gradually sift in the flour and cornflour
Fold in the chocolate chips and form a ball of dough once all ingredients are mixed in
Cover in cling film and leave in fridge fro 30 minutes
Roll out and cut into your desired shape and thickness
Place of greaseproof paper and bake for 10 - 15 minutes (the thicker the biscuits the longer they'll need!)
Once cooked and cooled, melt 50g of DF chocolate chips and dip the star tips in the chocolate or decorate however you like!
